A few days ago a friend of mine was trying on Calvin Klein underwear. She asked me if her body was good enough. She pointed at a huge poster of Kim Kardashian wearing the same underwear and said: “She doesn’t have those lovehandles.” It made me realize once again that we always compare ourselves to standards that aren’t realistic. These unrealistic bodies are starting to bore me and apparently I’m not the only one.

Weekday started a campaign in May called My Body My Image. They sent 25 “ordinary” women items from their new swim collection and asked them to create their own campaign. The result was a beautiful set of photos that shows that women’s bodies come in all different kinds of shapes and that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

I personally started to follow more people who show realistic images of a healthy beautiful body:
